Purchase Terms
Thank you for your interest in Windsor Gallery. Please review the following purchase terms before placing an order or submitting an inquiry.
Nature of the Works
Windsor Gallery offers vintage, antique, and previously owned works of art, including paintings, prints, drawings, watercolors, and works on paper. Many pieces show signs of age, handling, previous framing, or prior ownership. These may include toning, foxing, mat burn, surface wear, minor losses, old mounting, frame wear, or other age-related characteristics.
Condition notes are provided in good faith and are intended to describe each work as accurately as possible. Additional photographs are available upon request.
Sales & Returns
All sales are considered final unless otherwise agreed in writing prior to purchase.
Because each work is unique, returns are not accepted for change of mind, differences in color between screens, framing preferences, or expected age-related wear that has been described or photographed.
A return may be considered only if a work has been materially misrepresented. Any concern must be reported within three business days of delivery, with supporting photographs and a written description of the issue.
If a return is approved due to material misrepresentation, Windsor Gallery will provide or reimburse return shipping. Approved returns must be shipped back using an insured and trackable service, in the original packaging or comparable protective packaging. Refunds, when approved, will be issued after the work has been received and inspected.
Frames
Frames, mats, glazing, and hanging hardware are included as-is unless otherwise stated. Vintage and antique frames may show wear, losses, repairs, or instability. Frames are considered complimentary to the artwork and are not guaranteed to be original, archival, or free from defects.
Shipping
Shipping costs are quoted separately unless otherwise stated. Works are packed with care and shipped by an appropriate carrier using a safe and cost-conscious shipping method.
Windsor Gallery will select the shipping method unless the buyer requests a preferred carrier, expedited shipping, additional insurance, or other special handling before shipment. Additional costs for requested shipping accommodations will be the responsibility of the buyer.
Tracking information will be provided when available. Windsor Gallery aims to ship purchased works within five business days of cleared payment unless other arrangements are made. If additional packing time is required, the buyer will be notified.
Damage in Transit
If a work arrives damaged, please notify Windsor Gallery within 48 hours of delivery.
Please retain all original packaging, boxes, wrapping materials, and the damaged item, as these may be required for a carrier or insurance claim. Provide clear photographs of the outer packaging, inner packaging, shipping label, damaged area, and the full work.
Windsor Gallery will initiate or coordinate any shipping insurance claim when applicable. Please do not discard packaging, attempt repair, or return the item until instructed, as doing so may affect the claim process.
Payment
Payment terms will be confirmed at the time of purchase. A work is not considered sold until payment has cleared unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Color & Images
Windsor Gallery makes every effort to photograph works accurately. Colors may vary slightly depending on lighting, screen settings, and device display.
